Here are some reasons why Fall is my favorite season:

1. I love the sound of dry leaves crunching on the sidewalk as I walk. I love to drag my feet through them. I love to watch them get carried by the wind.

2.  I LOVE THE SMELL of the air. The smell of burning wood in fireplaces, the smell of burning leaves in the country, the smell of CLEAN in the air every morning when I step outside. I love it when the air makes my cheeks red. I love the lack of humidity most days, which keeps my hair and my makeup looking fresh!

3.  I love cracking the windows all throughout the house, letting the crisp air refresh everything.

4. I love the changing colors on the trees, plants, and grass.

5.  I love pulling out the the warm cuddly clothes from the closet and getting snuggled up in them.

6.  I love seeing boyfriends/husbands start to hold their girlfriends/wives closer to keep them warm when walking down the street.

7.  I love the adorable little kids in their Halloween costumes.  I also love shopping for photography props during Halloween season!

8.  I love that the briskness in the air has brought back the briskness of spirit that the heat often takes away in its overbearing beatdown in SC. I have energy again!  SC summers take away all of my energy and when Fall comes, I just feel it flowing back into my bones!!!
