I love this Pergo flooring!

Seriously, though, I didn’t realize how much of my kitchenware was old and used-up, and I thought about all the things I say “I’m gonna have to get one of…” and slapped that on my registry, too. I didn’t want to get anything frivolous or unnecessary. It became fun after I got into it, but it sure was frustrating to start! I kept getting overwhelmed. I’m not used to picking all of that stuff out at once!  I usually pick up something here and there when shopping at Ross Stores!

Anyway, I feel like I’m getting a lot done, but there’s so much left to do!! I’ve picked out my flowers, and one of my bridesmaids, Kim, is helping me to check on pricing for the floral arrangements. I’ve picked out a hairstyle that I think will work with my face, and I have a trial run on Feb 20th. I have my invitations sent out, and I’m already getting the RSVPs back in the mail.  My dress has been purchased, my bridesmaids have their dresses, and we have the tuxedos picked out and waiting for fittings. I bought Otman’s wedding ring last week. I’ve been drinking nothing but water and unsweetened tea, and I’ve been huffing and puffing with Jillian Michaels on TV.

Soooo…. I need to get the flowers arranged, meet with the cake lady, get our marriage license, find someone to marry us, create a song list, figure out the decorations, order favors…. get all of Otman’s guys on track for their tuxedo, sigh.

There’s a lot left, but I have no doubt it’ll get done and everything will be gorgeous! I am so excited to have everyone there. It’s going to be so wonderful.

Their wedding was held at People’s Church in Greer, SC, and we drove over to The Davenport in Greer for a gorgeous reception. Crystal’s colors were pink and black, and because of the season, the church and reception hall were decorated for Christmas, and it was breathtaking. Blake from Jumpin Jukebox was fantastic, and everyone was on the dance floor all night long! 

I want to give my most heartfelt thanks to Crystal & Robert, Allison, and all of your friends and family for allowing me to be a part of this beautiful day together. I loved every minute of it, and I just want to say how much I appreciate you. You are all so real, genuine, and loving, and it made my heart swell to be surrounded by so much love and support. This is what life is truly all about. Please stay in touch!

Crystal’s Maid of Honor, Audrey, did her hair and makeup. She is VERY talented!

I LOVED Crystal’s dress! All of her bridesmaids were so sweet and helpful, and had so much fun joking around all morning! There was a countdown all morning… “Only 3 more hours until you are Mrs. McFarlin!!!” 

It was SO cold outside, but my girls braved the chills for some AMAZING shots! Look at that sky!

The guys looked ultra-suave and cool. These guys were really sweet, and had a great sense of humor! They really made the day a lot of fun. 

Robert’s grandfather performed the service, and gave a speech to introduce the ceremony that brought tears to my eyes. It was absolutely beautiful. 

There is nothing more beautiful than the look on the bride and groom’s face when they see each other moments before the ceremony. 

Have I mentioned how much I love Robert and Crystal? Look at them! BORN for the camera!!! 

Kim, Crystal’s friend, sang like an angel. My fiance wants to take her to American Idol! Gorgeous voice!!! 

You did it! Husband and Wife!

The guys couldn’t really get the hang of what I wanted them to do, but it’s all good. The girls got it perfectly! 

Then they dropped Robert! He took it like a champ, though.  

What a good sport.

Some of the treats at the reception included a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit, and an ornament for everyone to take home and put on their Christmas tree.

At the end of the night, amidst a sprinkling of rain and birdseed, Robert and Crystal left as husband and wife for their trip to Cancun, Mexico.
