Q How do I contact you?

Q What is your wedding style?
A Very simply put, your wedding pictures will be gorgeous images that capture the emotion of the day. I provide a balanced mix of the naturally desired posed shots intertwined with a photo journalistic documentation of your love, joy, emotion, and tears. It’s about the REAL moments – these are the moments you’ve planned for meticulously for months and months! I want the emotion captured. For an example of one of my weddings, check out this slideshow!
Q What type of sessions do you schedule?
A I schedule children’s sessions, portrait, boudoir, family, maternity and newborn sessions. Photography is my passion, and I love it all. Since I am a wedding photographer throughout the peak seasons, weekends during this time will be booked in advance. Please book your session as early as possible and confirm your date with a deposit.
Q What is a session like?
A EVERY client is a little nervous before the session. By the end of the session, we are usually joking, laughing, playing, and having the time of our lives. 100% of my clients have told me that a photo session with me is one of the most positive, fun experiences they’ve had! I focus on fun, relaxation, comfort, and positive energy with all of my portrait sessions! We will work together to pick a wonderful location for your images – depending on what you are most comfortable with and the look we are trying to achieve. A session typically lasts around an hour, but you will never feel rushed. I look for my sessions to be an enjoyable experience, and I LOVE to play and be silly! I will take a variety of images, including both posed shots and more photojournalistic-style images. My goal is to CAPTURE WHO YOU ARE, not just a person stiffly smiling in front of a pretty background! Together we will create some wonderful portraits and have an awesome time doing it!
Q What is your pricing?
A Pricing varies depending on whether you are purchasing a boudoir package, family package, or wedding package. There is a session fee, which covers my time and talent while on a location of your choice. Individual and family session fees begin at $200 for locations in the Columbia, SC metro area. Prints and products are priced separately. Please email me for a list of those prices.
Q Do you offer packages?
A I do offer print and product packages which save you considerable money over a la carte pricing. I also LOVE offering promotions and frequently offer “booking bonuses” in the form of print credits, discount codes, and other goodies!
Q Do you offer digital files?
A Yes. You may purchase digital files of your session or event for personal use. Please respect and adhere to all copyright laws. These files are for personal use only, and it is illegal to use these files for any other purpose.
Q What do I wear?!
A This is the most common question asked by my clients after booking their session! If you need help in this area, I can make recommendations or you can read my “What To Wear Guide”. Just ask me about this when you book your session if you would like to take a look 😉
Q What happens after the session?
A After the session, I backup and narrow down your proofs. I then process each one in my digital darkroom. At your proofing session, you will also be given access to your own online gallery where you and your friends and family can view the images and order from them for 7 days after the proofing session. Payment for orders are due upon placing the order and most products are ready for delivery within 2-3 weeks (the exception to this is albums, Museum Gallery Wrap Canvases or orders placed close to a major holiday such as Christmas).
Q How many proofs will I have to choose from?
A You are guaranteed at least 20 proofs to choose from. A typical session yields somewhere between 20-40 images.
Q What type of products are available for purchase?
A I offer anything and everything you can think of. If you don’t see it on my website, just ask and I’ll work with you to create your vision. I offer gallery wrap canvases, gorgeous albums, prints, framed prints, fun merchandise, cards, etc.
