A few weeks ago, I drove up to Winchester, VA to photograph Erin and Dan and document their beautiful wedding day! The wedding was held at the Bowling Green Country Club, in a beautiful banquet hall on the south course, and even though it was a rainy day, it didn’t stop Erin and Dan from having an absolutely gorgeous wedding day. Erin and Dan are PERFECT for each other, and I am so happy that I was able to be their photographer! They have a great sense of humor, an awesome laid-back attitude, and they are truly loving people that really know the value and meaning of having a rich, full life. They are surrounded by amazing friends and family, and I am so grateful to all of them for making me feel welcome and at home the whole weekend. I just wished we lived closer!!! They hold a special place in my heart!
Erin, Dan and all your family and friends: Thank you so much for including me in your wonderful day. I am so happy to have all of you as new friends!!! I can’t wait to see you guys and have tons of fun with all of you again!!!
WARNING – This blog post is FULL of photos!!!! I am so in love with this couple, and their wedding!!! Everyone was so happy, relaxed, and excited to have a great time with their friends and family!
Dan had cufflinks made with the GPS coordinates of the Empire State Building, where is where he proposed to Erin, and changed both their lives forever! You can check them out later in this post.
Dan’s family and groomsmen were so much fun! Lot of laughs and jokes, and all of them were so happy to be there for Dan!
Erin, your smile is just infectious and beautiful. 🙂 It has to be one of the first things Dan fell in love with when he met you.
This room is where I first learned the meaning of “the bagel.” Erin’s bridesmaids were so open, welcoming, and super duper sweet!!!
Erin, your dress – Oh…. my…. goodness…. The details, the embroidery, the lace, the cut…… Perfection.
Erin’s shoes were specifically modeled after a vintage shoe style. So pretty!
Erin and Dan opted for a first look session, which is the most fun for me, because I get to be there and photograph those first moments when they see each other for the first time on the wedding day. Suffice it to say, Dan was impressed! 😉
The photo below is one of my favorites from the day:
Dan and Erin wrote their own vows to each other, and they were PERFECT.
I love fun wedding parties!! Let’s do it all over again!
Erin and Dan are lovers of wine, and spend time touring and reviewing wineries across Northern Virginia. Erin has her own blog where she talks about her experiences – check it out! They made their reception a vineyard-themed session with so many awesome details, such as corks as wedding favors, wine bottles as place settings, etc.
One of my favorite details from the wedding are these cards that talked about all the different wines of the area, and how it related to milestones and memories throughout Erin and Dan’s relationship. I love that it was so personal and told a story of their love together!
OMG. These were the best cupcakes I have have eaten. Seriously. OM NOM NOM NOM. All of the cupcakes were baked locally, which is awesome, except I don’t live next to the bakery. Ha. It’s probably for the best. 😀
Here are the cufflinks I told you about! 🙂
Another fave photo below: Erin, your hair, your makeup, your smile – you can confidently say that you looked perfect for your wedding day. 🙂
I love these sweet moments with Dan and his mom:
Erin’s dad is so genuinely sweet and welcoming. I felt comfortable with him from the moment I met him. What a nice guy!!!
Time to dance!
This is my mom! She came with me and manned the Photo Booth! If you want to see some crazy Photo Booth photos, stay tuned to the blog. I offer the photo booth as an add-on to any wedding package, and it is TONS of fun!
Dan and Erin finished off the night with a super-romantic last dance. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING!!!!
