I just got back from our 1-year anniversary vacation, and I had to share this photo with you. We drove through the Valley of Fire, an amazing, unbelievable landscape in the Nevada desert. It was miles and miles of stark desert landscape, and then these amazing, bright copper-colored rock formations shoot out of the scenery. It is like being thrust onto another planet. It’s miles and miles of winding roads through these mountains, and as we were almost to the top of the mountain range, we passed a couple getting married! What an amazing place to say “I do.” They flew themselves and all of their close family from London to get married at this spot, and it was beautiful. Being a wedding photographer, I LOVE the beauty and emotion of weddings, so on our way back around the scenic drive, I rolled down my window, offered my congratulations, and asked for the bride’s permission to take her picture against this gorgeous landscape. She was so gracious, and said “Of course!” As you will see, not only was she gracious, but also gorgeous! Enjoy!
