Hello World,

Thank you for your patience as I’ve been completely off the radar for the past few weeks, but it was all for a great reason! I got married! Otman and I celebrated the 9 year anniversary of the day we met with marriage on March 20, 2010. It was amazing, wonderful, happy, exciting, and a whirlwind of emotion.  Before the actual day, I was super busy getting everything ready for the wedding, and enjoying my bridal shower and bachelorette party!  I have to say, I am super blessed to have such beautiful, generous, caring friends and family. 

I will be posting TONS of pictures of the entire event and of our subsequent honeymoon to HAWAII 🙂 soon, but I want to post a few pictures now that are readily available to me thanks to my great friend Wensi – please visit her website at www.jinwensi.com.

I just want to say that after the bridal shower, I was overwhelmed. Overwhelmed with such love and caring, and completely taken by emotions that I still can’t quite place into words.  Otman wasn’t at the shower, so after it was all over, and I was lying in bed thinking about everything, I called him crying because I LOVE everyone so much, and don’t want it to be the last time we are all together. I also called Annette as she was driving home, and we talked about everything. I felt like a super-emotional baby, but I felt so much happiness, gratefulness and love at the blessings in my life that it just had to flow over somehow! 

It’s super important that as we get older, we don’t let these moments happen only at weddings and funerals. We have to make a point to show our love and get together as much as we can. With two jobs, plus helping Otman with his business, I definitely know it’s hard to plan around everyone’s schedule, but we can’t get too busy to know what’s really important – each other, and spending time with each other. The greatest gift at that bridal shower (and everyone was so considerate and generous with their gifts – thank you so much!) was everyone together celebrating love.
