I am so excited to share these photos with you all! Jessie, Josh, and I met up late on Saturday afternoon to document their love for each other for a sweet engagement session. We planned out a vintage theme, and they looked so great!

Jessie and Josh are so great together. Let’s just start by saying the obvious – they are both model-beautiful (and handsome). You could dress them up in a paper bag and still have a great photo shoot. But it’s not what they look like that makes them so special. I’ve known Jessie for a long time, and she is so smart, funny and hilarious. She has a great sense of humor, and she is so much fun to be around She is also a talented writer (although she’ll never admit it), and a really modest person. Although I only recently met Josh, already I can tell how perfect he is for Jessie.  Josh is quick to smile and laugh, and has this chilled, reserved personality that makes you feel at ease being around him.

The love between Jessie and Josh is bright and happy, and I’m so happy and privileged that I get to share this special part of their lives with them. I am so excited to shoot their wedding next May, and can’t wait to shoot Jessie’s bridal photos!

Jessie said she LOVES the vintage effects on photos, so I used some textures and color schemes to mimic vintage film from the old days. It was fun!

 

They are going to have the most beautiful children.

 

The chemistry between them is so beautiful!

 

Jessie, if I ever want to buy a wig, I want it made out of your hair. Gorgeous! ( I don’t mean to sound creepy, by the way.)  😛

 

I couldn’t decide if I liked this photo better in color or black and white. What do you think?
