Recently I had the pleasure of reconnecting with one of my past clients for her maternity portraits! I was so excited to see Emily again, and even more excited to be able to document this most special time of her and her husband’s lives! We took her maternity photos in downtown Columbia, SC on a beautiful, peaceful Sunday morning.

Let me just tell you, this beautiful baby (it’s a boy!) is going to be so loved and surrounded with joy. I felt so privileged to capture the excitement, anticipation and overwhelming adoration this couple shared, both for each other and for their baby boy. The looks Emily and Richard shared with each other, while staring down at this miracle, was a palpable love that couldn’t be measured. Emily, my gosh – you are so incredibly beautiful and radiant! The delight just poured out of you, and you are so beautiful! Between you and Richard, this is going to be an incredibly beautiful baby!!!!

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a small part of this time in your lives. It truly means a lot to me.  I can’t wait to meet the little Grady and capture him after he enters the world!!!

 

Seriously – is there any doubt that this baby is going to be amazingly adorable??? Look at these two!

Richard is such a sweet husband. You can tell how much he loves Emily in the way he watches her every step. It’s so beautiful and sweet! 

Emily, you are so beautiful!!!!!!

Richard loves the Gators, while Emily is die-hard Gamecocks fan! She brought the little helmets for some fun… and some rivalry!  🙂

Thanks again! You guys are so awesome!!! I can’t wait to meet Grady!
